Held on the third Friday in August, the Terrace Bay Lighthouse Festival is a cherished annual tradition that celebrates the region’s rich maritime heritage. Set against the iconic backdrop of the Terrace Bay Lighthouse, the festival brings together locals and visitors alike to enjoy a day filled with music, local food, children’s events and a vibrant display of arts and crafts.
The event highlights the community’s deep connection to the area’s natural beauty and history, offering a unique opportunity to explore the traditions and stories of the North Shore. With live music, delicious food from local vendors, and an array of handcrafted goods, the festival fosters a sense of unity and pride among attendees.

ARTISAN MARKET & Sidewalk Sale – 1pm to 6pm
Our ARTISAN STREET MARKET is back! Visit the many artisans and local groups around the plaza!
FUN IN THE PARK – 2pm to 8pm
FUN-TASTIC CASTLES are back with their huge castles which always result in smiles! Don’t forget your swimsuit for the water slide! Your favourite clowns, DOTTIE & LULU, bringing their fun face painting and balloon making to the festival!
SHOW & SHINE – Cars/Trucks/Motorbikes – 1pm to 5pm
Bring your friends and family to admire stunning rides, chat with their proud owners and cast your VOTE for your favourite vehicle! All car, truck, and motorbike owners are welcome to come join us and display your vehicle! Sponsored by TBA
CORNHOLE CHALLENGE – 4pm to 7pm
Join us for a new twist on this summer favourite – CORN HOLE! 1st Throw is FREE! Extra Rounds are just $2 each. Challenge: Players get a total of 8 throws to try to achieve the highest score on the board! Open to All Ages.
Prizes: 1st Place – 2nd Place – 3rd Place
To Play: Meet at the Cornhole Boards!
BASKETBALL HOOP CHALLENGE – 4pm to 7pm
How It Works: 1st round is FREE! Additional rounds are just $2 each.
Challenge: Make as many free throws as you can with only 3 misses allowed per round.

LIGHTHOUSE BINGO – 1:30pm to 3:00pm

JORDAN HUMENIAK kicks off the evening with an acoustic set full of energy and heart. She is a contemporary folk singer/songwriter with a raw, heartfelt sound and a love for honest storytelling. At just 20 years old, Jordan draws from over 13 years of performance and songwriting experience—crafting music that feels both intimate and universally relatable. Her solo acoustic set features a blend of original songs and carefully chosen covers, that explore the depths of emotion, connection, and coming of age.
